My name is Alexey 🙂 I am a certified Yoga teacher and Body Psychotherapist.
My first introduction to the spiritual world was in 2011 when I started to study at Reidman International College for Alternative Medicine in Tel-Aviv.
I was studying for 3 years Body-Mind Psychotherapy – a combination of Psychology, Anatomy, deep tissue work, breathing techniques, meditation, and mindfulness.
I was fascinated by this approach that sees our health as a holistic whole combined from a lot of parts that affect each other continuously. in a big contradiction to modern western medicine, that just treating a symptom and not really concern about the real healing process.
During my studies, I was introduced to yoga practice and fell in love.
I’m practicing different types of Yoga regularly since 2015 (Hatha, Ashtanga, Vinyasa, and Bindusar)
For me, Yoga is not just a physical practice of Asanas, it is a way of life.
As written in the yoga sutras of Patanjali – Yogas Chitta Vritti Nirodha (calming the waves of the mind), and we do it by focusing on all aspects of life; from nutrition and physical practice to breathing techniques and meditation and the way we treat each ourselves and others during daily life.
I choose to teach so I can share my own personal practice and the knowledge I have collected over the years with a big hope to help people reduce their suffering.
On a personal note, I love to spend my time in nature, sit around a fire with family and friends. I practice a mix of Ashtanga and Vinyasa flow early morning before sunset.
Alex astanga jóga órái angol nyelven zajlanak. Ha nem tudsz angolul, akkor se ijedj meg, Alex nagyon jól beszél magyarul is! 🙂
